Финансовый центр Taipei (Taipei Financial Center) расположен в г. Тайбэй (Тайвань). Центр состоит из двух зданий — башни Taipei 101 и пристроенного к ней пятиэтажного «подиума» (Podium).
В настоящее время башня Taipei 101 является самым высоким зданием в мире. Вместе с шестидесятиметровым шпилем высота 101-этажного небоскреба составляет 508 м. Строительство башни обошлось в $1,7 млрд. и завершилось в октябре 2003 года. Главным архитектором проекта выступила компания C.Y. Lee and Associates. Taipei Financial Center is situated in Taipei (Taiwan). The Center involves two buildings - Taipei 101 Tower and attached five-storey Podium. Nowadays Taipei 101 is featured as a highest building in the world. The height of 101-storey skyscraper, which resembles aphelandra, is 508 m. Taipei 101 also has the world's fastest elevators. To prevent the building from swaying during typhoons or earthquakes, an 800-ton ball-shaped damper is used to dissipate lateral vibration to a spring system. Taipei 101 Tower's facades are complex double structures developed and erected by Permasteelisa Group.
