TWO STRONG SHOWS—INDIAN CERAMICS AND...

Taking place between March 2 and 4, 2016 are the two strongest ceramics trade
fairs in India: Indian Ceramics and Ceramics Asia, both running concurrently at
the Gujarat University Exhibition Centre in Ahmedabad.

"India is the world´s fastest growing ceramics market. So the decision to organize
both events concurrently will bring significant advantages to exhibitors and
visitors," commented Gerhard Gerritzen, Deputy Managing Director of Messe
München.
“I have great expectation for the co-location cooperation between UNIFAIR und MMI
India. I have confidence that both organizers will integrate intelligence as well as
combine each maximum advantage to offer best exhibition value added services for
both exhibitors and trade buyers” commented Amen Liao, President of Unifair
Exhibition Service Co., Ltd.
Already India ranks in the top three tile-producing countries worldwide and the industry
is continuing to expand. Gujarat accounts for more than 70 percent of the entire
ceramics production of the whole of India, so for the ceramics companies in this
region—over 600 in total—Ahmedabad is an excellent choice of location. It is the key
to the Indian ceramics market, especially now with Indian Ceramics and Ceramics Asia
being held concurrently at the same venue here.

As leading trade fairs for investment in the ceramics industry, these two shows cover
the entire bandwidth of classical ceramics, from raw materials to digital printing. The
exhibitors will be presenting the latest technologies and innovations at these platforms.
For all decision-makers in the Indian ceramics industry, attendance at both these
events is a must. Because this is where they can review all the technological
innovations and the machinery and systems that are designed to help them meet the
challenges of the future.
The organizers, MMI India and Unifair Exhibition Service, both have many years of
experience in the trade-fair business. The responsibilities have been divided up
between the two companies according to region: MMI India covers the Indian,
European, Russian and Turkish markets, while Unifair looks after China, Asia and
USA.
For the visitors valuable synergies will derive from the stronger international
representation and a broader range of products. For all the key Chinese, Indian and
European exhibitors will be coming together on an exhibition space that is now
expanded by 2,000 square meters.
