APPROXIMATELY 900 EXHIBITORS AND 60,000...

Even more informative and innovative with enhanced international character: R+T
2015 was an absolute success! The leading world trade fair for roller shutters,
doors/gates and sun protection strengthened its position as an established
industry meeting place and once again set industry trends. The exhibitors and
visitors were also equally satisfied with the professional standard and the
increased number of business deals.

Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, President of Messe Stuttgart, looks back with delight on
a successful event: "Even after 50 years R+T is still the most important event in the
industry calendar for visitors and exhibitors."

Focus on industry-led topics

Comfort, security and energy efficiency: These were the three major topics of R+T
2015. Particularly security in connection with the operation and burglary
prevention with roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection was an important
concern of visitors. In all halls exhibitors showcased the latest developments,
innovations and trends in this area.

Similar to 2012, energy efficiency also played a key role again this year. Starting
with high-speed doors/gates, which reduce the opening times significantly and
thus minimise energy losses, and innovative elements of internal sun protection
through to functional designs for shading in the outdoor area – various new
product developments could be found everywhere.

It was also apparent that the aspect of interlinking individual trades and functions,
which up to now have been controlled independently, is becoming more and
more important. Modern roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection elements
are becoming part of functional networks in the building: Because building
automation has immense potential with regard to the further improvement of
energy consumption and security and ultimately it is also about comfort and
aesthetic appeal - that was clear at many stands.
Exhibitors and visitors from all over the world

888 exhibitors (2012: 816) from all corners of the world showcased themselves in
2015 in Stuttgart. Compared to 2012, the number of foreign exhibitors rose from
66 to 73 percent. In addition to the big exhibitor countries, among them France
and the Netherlands, the trade fair also recorded growth this year from countries

who up to now were not represented at R+T – for example Ireland, Latvia,
Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates and Romania.
The 59,057 visitors also came from all corners of the globe: They travelled from
131 countries. A total of 54 percent of the visitors came from abroad, 79 from
Europe. On average they spent two days discovering the innovations and trends
of R+T in detail.

Many decision-makers on site

The high importance of R+T as a leading world trade fair for roller shutters,
doors/gates and sun protection can also be seen in the visitor groups. The roller
shutters and sun protection industry was once again the most strongly
represented visitor group at 61 percent, followed by the doors/gates industry
whose percentage of visitors increased by two percent to 22 percent in
comparison to 2012, as well as window manufacturers, who made up 17 percent
of the visitors. The professional visitors from industry and trade formed the
strongest visitor groups with 44 and 37 percent respectively, followed by the retail
market with 18 percent.

The number of decision-makers at R+T 2015 was remarkably high, including
several independent contractors, managing directors of companies or board
members.

Of these 88 percent stated they were involved in the purchasing and procurement
decisions or acted here in an advisory capacity. Overall, 79 percent of the
exhibitors rated the visitor quality as "very good" or "good".

High-quality trade fair offering impresses visitors and exhibitors

91 percent of visitors rated R+T as "good" or "very good", just as many visitors
would recommend the leading world trade fair to fellow industry professionals and
for 81 percent it was already clear during the survey that they will be back again in
Stuttgart in 2018. Over half of those surveyed, namely 54 percent, were also
confident that R+T will become more important in the future. They mentioned the
product overview and diversity, as well as the abundance of innovations and new
products, as reasons for this forecast. For many visitors the international character
of the exhibitors also played a central role in their decision to attend the trade fair.
The exhibitors also appeared satisfied. Two thirds of the exhibitors stated they
had attained their trade fair objectives. The decision to exhibit again at R+T in
2018 was already made during the trade fair for 71 percent of the exhibitors. 39
percent of the exhibitors are also confident that the importance of the leading
world trade fair will increase further in the future, primarily due to the high
international character and its positioning as the most relevant global meeting
place for the roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection industries.

R+T 2018 will be held from 27 February to 3 March in Stuttgart.
Some exhibitor testimonials on the trade fair:
Christoph Silber-Bonz, Managing Director, Federal Association for Manufacturers
of Roller Shutters and Sun Protection (BVRS), Bonn, Germany: "R+T was also a big

success from the visitors' point of view. In all halls there was a number of new
products on show, of which I am convinced that they are very well received on the
market. R+T also revealed that the supplier industry will provide the trade industry
with innovative and practical products also in the future, which are required for
economic success. In this respect I am certain that 2015 will also mean that R+T
years are always excellent years for the roller shutters, doors/gates and sun
protection industry."

Dr.-Ing. Claus Schwenzer, Chairman, National Federation of Door and Gate
Manufacturers, Ratingen, Germany: "R+T once again impressively demonstrated
its outstanding importance as a trade fair for innovations and new products and as
a platform for exchanging information and ideas. The mood among exhibitors and
visitors was excellent and the increase in visitor numbers was particularly
noticeable on the first three days. The exhibitors consistently praised the high
quality of the visitors, and in particular the exhibitors who provide solutions for
façades were delighted with the higher number of interested architects compared
to the event in 2012. As an association we are particularly pleased that many of
our members once again used the trade fair as a welcome meeting place and
information platform."

Thomas Polonyi, Managing Director, Sectional Doors & Docking EMEA Entrematic
Germany GmbH, Hallbergmoos, Germany: "R+T 2015 got off to an excellent start.
Many qualified visitors came to our stand and it is clearly visible that the visitors
come from all over the world to R+T. For our young company R+T is an important
forum to showcase ourselves and our new products, as well as to meet existing
and new customers. We were able to conduct many excellent discussions. We
were impressed with the good organisation of the trade fair in terms of getting
there, infrastructure and hall layout and felt very comfortable here. All in all we are
very satisfied and we will be happy to be at R+T 2018."

Tejas Shah, Representative of Gandhi Automations Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, India: "In
India we are the No. 1 on the market in the area of high-speed doors/gates. At
R+T our aim was to enter the global market. We registered huge demand here
and many visitors were interested in our products. It was awesome to be here. For
us R+T is the ideal platform to gain a foothold on the international market. We
also conducted good discussions with suppliers and potential buyers. The diversity
of the industries represented is a terrific signal for us. Thanks to R+T, we have
really good prospects for future orders."

Stephan Kleine, Managing Partner, GfA Elektromaten GmbH & Co. KG,
Düsseldorf, Germany: "The R+T trade fair is an important platform for us to
present new products and enter into direct dialogue with customers. We have
been present at the trade fair since 1973. Participation in the innovation prize is
also a voluntary obligation for us. We use the prize to showcase our know-how
and convince an expert jury of our ideas. We also managed to do this again this
year. We had a very positive experience at this year's trade fair. The ideal
conditions in Stuttgart brought us a new visitor record. We attained all our
objectives."
Ilkka Kauhanen, Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Helaform
Oy, Helsinki, Finland: "We had an extremely positive experience at our first-ever
R+T. We fully implemented our plan to meet target groups and expand the

customer base to Germany, where to date we have been largely unknown, as well
as to increase our market awareness. We established numerous new contacts.
Particularly pleasing is the demand from the USA, Israel, Croatia, Eastern Europe,
Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, as well as the Middle East, which are
all new markets for us."

Bernd Heydebreck, Partner, Heydebreck GmbH, Forstern, Germany: "R+T is the
most important trade fair for our company. We were also successful in 2015. We
were able to reach new target groups, such as new suppliers who we were not
familiar with up to now. With international visitors from China, Poland, Italy,
Austria, Switzerland, USA, Africa, Beirut, Lebanon and Israel, etc., we have various
opportunities to establish new contacts on an international level. We have been
on board since 1982 and every time we are happy with the optimally organised
trade fair and the interested professional visitors, whose high quality this year
must also be highlighted. Over the years we have also built up a good relationship
with the R+T team. R+T 2015 was even better than previous events. It couldn't be
better!"

Ruud Bekendam, Marketing Manager, Hunter Douglas NV, Rotterdam,
Netherlands:
"The trade fair is very important for us because it is a leading world trade fair. It is
the largest trade fair in the world and only takes place every three years. You just
have to be there! Besides the customers, important decision-makers also come to
R+T. This is why, for example, our management team is also on site to meet our
customers in person. These meetings influence the customer relationships over
the long term."

Gertrud Müller, Managing Director, Industrial Association for Technical Textiles,
Roller Shutters and Sun Protection (ITRS e.V.), Mönchengladbach, Germany: "R+T
was once again a huge success for us. We conducted many technical discussions.
The mood among the exhibitors was excellent. This was obvious from the positive
feedback we received. We are already now receiving requests from visitors from
the association, who want to exhibit in 2018 at R+T. That's a really good sign."
Dr. Christian Junkers, Managing Director, Junkers & Müllers GmbH,
Mönchengladbach, Germany: "R+T is an important event for our company. The
leading world trade fair impresses time and time again with its continuing appeal.
The three-year cycle ensures that the whole world is present. The visitors come
from various regions and even travel from North and South America, Asia and
Australia. The visitor quality of the trade fair is particularly impressive. The
business owners come personally to R+T, as do the employees from production or
customer service. It is clear that the companies take part in the trade fair in huge
groups and take time to examine the trade fair offering in detail. For us this is an
ideal opportunity to establish contact with decision-makers and interact directly
with customers. In our opinion, R+T 2015 reasserted and even strengthened its
position as a leading world trade fair. We will definitely be back again in 2018."
Regine Huber, Press/Marketing Roma KG, Burgau, Germany: "6,000 guests from
all over Europe in five days, that sums up R+T 2015 for ROMA. The
Stuttgart-based trade fair was once again the ideal platform for the presentation
of our new products and stand concept. In the large catering area we conducted
many good personal discussions with partners on their current and future

requirements in relation to products, software and marketing support. R+T as an
industry meeting place for our customers is our highlight every three years."
Serge Darrieumerlou, General Director France, SOMFY, Cluses, France: "The R+T
trade fair is the reference per se for the entire industry. Thanks to the three-year
cycle, we are able to showcase huge innovations, which generate a lot of positive
interest. Here we meet customers from all over the world. The design of the
stands showed that the crisis is over. That makes us very positive about the
future."

Harald Freund, Executive Board, Warema Renkhoff SE, Marktheidenfeld, Germany:
"We are very satisfied with how the trade fair went. We received great feedback
from our existing customers and new prospective customers. The atmosphere at
our stand was formidable and makes us confident for 2015. For Warema, R+T is a
very important platform for the exchange of information and ideas and dialogue
with our partners, customers and prospective customers. We also greeted,
advised and informed a high number of visitors this year. We can confirm that the
targeted address of these target groups within the framework of the architects'
congress and forums also had a positive influence on the attendance at our stand.
The presentations from top-class keynote speakers attracted some architects and
planners to the trade fair and also to our stand. This also applies to the première
of the German Interior Designers' Day, which was very well received among
interior designers and decorators."
